Hair Jobs and Rock n Roll

Eric's hair looks good, i almost want to shave my head.

I have like 3 to 5 jobs offers depending on how things pan out.
This is way too late and I don't recommend to anyone waiting this long. I don't think i am in a good position to make a wise choice with the end of the road within reach. I can't imagine myself turning down a video game job so it seems to me that I am already decided.
I dont even know why I'm going to more interviews, good practice i guess but it is time consuming. I also feel manipulative as there is no way i'm going to take some lame application support position.

Here's another round of reviews

(Movie) Meet the Fockers C
Slightly below what I expected. Mildly amusing jokes, one dimensional characters, predictable plot.

(TV) The Office B+
Extremely bold and quite awkward comedy. Rediculous jokes that go too far and pretty cold humor. Blatant racism that I actually think is good for society. "Michael: So we're starting a basketball team, Bob, you'll play of course Bob (black): uhh why 'of course'? Michael: Oh, i mean, i'm sure you're good... Pedro (mexican): Ya i can play if you need me. Michael: Uhh.. no, I'll call you if i need someone for uhh.. baseball or .. boxing"
I really think this is a fresh new style of comedy which leads me to..

(TV) Scrubs A-
Wow, this show is just getting better and better. Zach Braff (main guy) is going to have a long career as an actor. He's amazing. Unique writing, great references and interesting characters. It started off pretty weak a year or two ago, but this is funniest show on TV. "JD: hey Ted, why are you hung upside down? Ted: I like to hang and do stomach crunches on my lunch break JD: Lunch was 4 hours ago Ted: Oh my, i wasted my Tuesday JD: Ted, its Wednesday Ted: No! I missed a Gilmore Girls!"

(Music) Lullabies to Paralyze - Queens of the Stone Age B
To me, it is a bland of new guitar sounds and a mellow rock voice. The sounds remind me of a dirty bar scene or driving a corvette in the desert, but its actually complex and interesting. Its the kind of rock that could be in an art exhibit. Not my favorite but its pretty good. I hate their image of stoner rock and they seem like really terrible people. Meh, Mick Jagger is pretty terrible too.

(Music) Massacre - 50 Cent F
This guy should not be popular. Dre and Eminem made him what he is, and now that he's a bit on his own, its really obvious that he has very limited skills and resorts to extreme mistreatment of women and his violence to sell records. This music is not only crappy to me, its crappy to society. He's on my lipstick list(if i had one) next to Apple, EA, Liberal Party and that stupid hamster song.

I just beat a game (freedom force third reich) that hasn't been released yet listening to christmas music from the trans siberian orchestra and some random pop stars

Also in the back ground i was compiling a 3d graphics rending engine for a game i am slowly making from pretty much scratch. Every once in a while the game slowed down and it took me a while to remember the compiling in the background. Here's some more quotes.

So I love Christmas, I love these quotes too (not quite on the same level) I was also drinking some flat Coke which was pretty good. I think they could probably sell it as its own drink without carbonation.

I wonder how long I can avoid reality. Oh, I recently heard a new term for it.

Harold and Kumar go to White Castle (C+)
I think it should be called Dude, Where's my White Castle with slightly less abnoxious actors that are both visible minorities. It killed the time without making me bored but it definately wasn't notably funny or interesting or anything.

Garden State (B+)
Basically another finding one's self / romance movie. It is kinda strange, natalie portman plays a kinda plain looking but extremely charming love interest. It didn't really follow much of the standard plot lines. Extremely well done. Note it was quite edgy so i'm not going to 'recommend it' per ce. Zach Braff (Scrubs guy) wrote it and starred in it, definately one of my new favorite actor guys

2pac Loyal to the Game (B-)
This is the number 1 album on billboard, fyi 2pac died in 1996. Produced by eminem it is alright. 2pac definately was a poet but i don't think his rapping is musically as interesting as the jigga man Jay-Z. If i didn't know it was 2pac it would probably be C+

Nirvana With the lights out (D)
Extremely crappy versions of their best songs. I don't want to hear 3 CDs full of demo tapes or some unfinished studio cut. Retarded...

Anyway, that doesn't really relate to anything.

So, I have done nothing for a full week now and that includes Christmas. Well not nothing nothing, but pretty close. I'd like to describe it as time of self-reflection and pondering but that would be mostly wrong. I had dinner out, I went to Christmas Eve service, we had different people over a few times but ya.. Also I did some far cry things such as getting the league set up and all the people satisfied. I am perhaps the single most important person in the FC community and I am pretty sure that these people don't even know. Whatever, c'est la vie I guess. Nobody gets the credit that is deserved, except for will smith that is. big willie style fo' real y'all. And yet i digress... (english help, what is proper usage of digress! je ne sais pas!)

I'm going to refer to my .torrents that i saved in the past week

I watched survivor finale. Man those women were terrible at that game. 6 women and 1 man. The man plays them off each other for like 10 days and they don't figure it out. Dude wins, props to him, i guess. I was reading some news and one of the women (early 20s) is supposedly going out with Jeff "the tribe has spoken" Probst (40s?) I kinda like Jeff but he broke the age rule. Meh, who am i kidding. I dont care.

I watched arrested development and scrubs. Excellent underrated comedies. (B+) for both. Funniest shows on television before family guy (A-) starts up again.

I listened to yellowcard. It is alright, nothing really stuck with me though. I prefer quite a few of the other new bands out there at the moment (muse, killers, strokes, maybe billy talent) (C+)

I listened to the Trans Siberian Orchestra's Christmas album. This stuff is great! Rock, opera definately one of the strangest mix of music i've heard. I found it by browsing the bill board top 100 and it is like 30th! which is amazing IMO (B+) because it is a little strange.

I watched Manchurian Candidate, it had promise but was extremely average (C+) (same thing i said about paycheck)

I watched The OC which despite being a quite 90210ish is perhaps the best written show on television which is kinda strange. if feels weird giving a teeny romance show this grade but whatever (B)

I watched the 24 season 4 prequel and it was pretty cool. Nikita's Madeline is the new boss and she fires Jack! Third watch firefighter chick is the new love interest which is probably the next person you wish would die but never does. (oh no a cougar!)

I watched Napoleon Dynamite tonight. I was expecting much more. It was pretty weak, not many jokes, not many laughs. Story was about a whole bunch of very different losers and his amazing dance that saves the day. (C-)

I've been playing ESPN College Hoops 2k5 and watching raptors and canada junior hockey. CHoops is pretty fun, I think i've played it too much though as i'm a really really small school and I just won the national championship. Not really sure what else to do.

Hockey should be great, I miss it quite a bit. I wish raptors would start winning.

So that was fun. Maybe this coming week will be more fun!

I am around alot of hip hop and only recently did i notice some of the things they were actually saying. I find it quite interesting. This is just from the one CD i was listening today.
